About Us “Thank you for taking the time to visit our site.  I spent 8 years as a liscenced outdoor lighting contractor, personally installing over 400 lighting systems, using practically all the major brands and available 12 volt lighting products in the market.  Like a lot of you guys, I have tore down, fixed-up, jimmy-rigged and ripped apart pretty much everything in this business.  This is the only way you can truly learn these systems inside and out.  I found that a lot of the manufacturers and sales reps from various companies had no clue how these systems worked or let alone ever dug a trench through frozen dirt or hung lights in trees off a 40ft ladder. Starting out in this business, I trained with recognized experts in the industry, and over the years have encountered nearly every kind of problem a fixture or transformer or bulb can dish out.   Like most contractors and small business owners, my main concern for keeping my business alive and paying my employees was to find new jobs and keep my costs down.  I learned that there was a direct relationship between these two issues, and was constantly trying to find a supplier or product line that was both dependable and inexpensive.  The problem was always that with cheap products, you rarely get any support from the manufacturer.  So you end up paying more for customer service, and a manufacturer warranty.  When I sold my business in 2006, I immediately began searching the globe for manufacturers who could make the kinds of products I had grown to trust over the years, so that I might be able to offer a new product line to the industry.  One that was from the perspective of a contractor who is still in touch with today's market and customer demands. Using raw metals with simple yet effective designs is a tried and true method.  As a contractor, I sold over a million dollars worth of lighting systems based on this principle.  None of my local distributors carried all the things I needed to be successful, and without aggressively seeking a multitude of suppliers for this or that, I would have never managed to keep my business thriving.
